The Sakai SW800 is a 10-ton double drum vibratory roller designed for efficient asphalt compaction. It features a 1.7-meter drum width and operates at a high frequency of 4,000 vibrations per minute (vpm), allowing for 30–60% faster compaction compared to conventional rollers with 2,500 or 3,000 vpm settings. This high-frequency operation enables the SW800 to finish compaction while the asphalt mix is still hot, resulting in a smooth and dense mat. The roller is powered by an Isuzu A-4BG1T engine delivering 110 hp at 2,300 rpm. With an operating weight of 10,200 kg and a fuel capacity of 220 liters, it offers a maximum speed of 12.5 km/h. The SW800 is ideal for road construction and maintenance projects requiring efficient and high-quality asphalt compaction.
